Veronika Velvette
Veronika Velvette is an Arts Enthusiast living in Glasgow with her cat Kiki. Together they have made three video series: Grow Your Own Gesamkunstwerk! (GYOG!), Spectacular Shadows, Astonishing Activities, and a very spooky Halloween special, Haunted Happenings.
Veronika Velvette is a character created by Claire Willoughby. Her first series GYOG! is about how to make a show at home. Each episode focuses on a different area of the arts, building up each week, so that by the end of the series, you have all the ingredients to make a piece of theatre to be performed in your own home. Grow Your Own Gesamkunstwerk! (GYOG!) was commissioned by National Theatre of Scotland as part of their Play Dates Offering during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.
Written and performed by Claire Eliza Willoughby and directed and filmed by Rob Willoughby, with dramaturgical support from Eszter Marsalko and Isy Sharman.
